Full Stack Developer crafting digital experiences that live at the intersection of engineering precision and creative vision. I build things that people actually love to use.
Who I am
I am Patrick Villamer, a full-stack developer who builds modern web applications from concept to deployment. I work across frontend and backend with React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL, and I focus on writing clean, scalable, and maintainable code. I enjoy turning complex requirements into smooth user experiences and reliable systems that perform well in production. My strengths include API design, database modeling, responsive UI development, and cloud-ready deployment workflows.
Career Goal: Grow into a full-stack engineer who leads end-to-end products and helps teams ship fast without sacrificing quality.

Communication Skills
In Professional Communication class, I learned how to communicate clearly, accurately and appropriately depending on the situation in order to effectively communicate in a modern world using mediums such as vlogs, blogs, presentations, and other online mediums. I also understood the importance of professionalism in both written and oral communications by writing effective emails/messages/reports as well as communicating with coworkers.
Strengths and Improvement
I am confident about being able to think critically, and articulate what I think. As an IT/Computers graduate, I am able to analyse issues that I see, describe the technical aspect and articulate how to go about fixing them. I need to improve my ability to coordinate with others, particularly when we are doing group tasks or working with people in a professional capacity. If I improve this, I will be a more effective team member and better able to work collaboratively with my peers.
Portfolio Growth
My growth as an IT student and developing professional is represented in this portfolio. It contains the many different kinds of capabilities that I have gained in both technology and communication. This portfolio contains examples of the application of my technical skills, combined with other forms of professional communications, which represent my preparedness for future academic, employment and career development opportunities.
